I love this pair of shoes. I've had them forever, and from the top they look great. But from the side - pretty shabby with the beadwork falling off and all.
I made a last ditch effort to save them. After all there was a lovely snake pattern which could hardly be seen underneath all those beads, and the shoes themselves are still holding together.
My tools: seam ripper, needlenose pliers, and nail clippers
I used the seam ripper to remove all the beads, pliers to pull out the threads, and nail clippers to snip any stubborn threads flush with the shoes. An hour later I had a "new" pair of snake shoes for free! I've worn them with everything, but my favorite thing to pair them with is my coral capris. I might just like them better this way!
