Yesterday was our first official "back home" day. Five months is a very long time! We are very grateful to Mema and Pop for putting us up that whole time, but we are even more grateful that we are back in our own space. The boxes are mostly unpacked thanks to Mom, Tracy, and Michelle who came to help a few days. The boys have been great as well! They unpacked and put their rooms together mostly by themselves. The poor washer and dryer have been going unceasingly, but even the piles of laundry are down to a minimum.
Last night we sat down at our nice cozy kitchen table and played Life. As we were playing, I got to thinking how our game of life took us around quite a bend in the road. Our family is stronger because of it. I feel that relying on and supporting each other during these last months has given us a greater love and appreciation for each other. And it sure has made us more thankful for what God has given us. When all the boxes are unpacked and the pictures are on the walls, I'll give you a "MOVE THAT BUS" virtual tour.
